Breast augmentation Beverly Hills – Breast Implants incisions
Now, there are four different types of incisions a person can chose from when having breast enhancement surgery that can help one hide the scars and or best suit there final goal.
· Tuba incision
· Periareolar incision
· Transaxillary incision
· Inframammary incision
The tuba incision is made on the rim of the belly button. A tunnel is made under the skin the fat layer. An endoscope (thin tube with a camera and surgical light) can be used to make a tunnel and to provide visibility to the surgeon. The tunnel reaches behind the breast in to the layer of loose tissue between the breast and pectoral muscles. After the pocket is created in the breast, the implant is inserted through the incision and moved up into the breast area, and the implant is centered behind the nipple.
Periareolar incision the plastic surgeon makes an incision at the edge of the areola; the aim of the incision is to place it in the transition area between the dark areola and surrounding breast skin where it can be hidden. Following the incision the surgeon creates a pocket for the breast implant and then slides the implant through the incision into the breast pocket, and the implant is once again centered behind the nipple. The implant is inserted and pushed through once again centered behind the nipple.
Inframammary incision, the surgeon decides the exact place in which to place the incision under the breast and close to the inframammary fold. The surgeon then makes the incision and the pocket to slide the breast implants through and centers it behind the nipple.
