Getting over fear of the dentist

Orange County Teeth whitening

When going to the dentist we all expect to be in lots of pain. We expect the pain mostly during whatever the procedure may be and in some cases after. When we go into the dentist we also know we are going to get that dreaded shot somewhere in our gums or inside of the cheeks. Wherever the shot is administered we definitely expect to feel it. Most people say that the shots you get at the dentist hurt more than the shots you might get in your arms for some kind of vaccine. Personally I believed those people until an Orange county dentist solved my pain problems. I went in for a small procedure in Orange County Teeth whitening was my goal for the day. I was sick of the coffee stains and dim looking teeth and I knew it was going to hurt because of my sensitivity to hot and cold. I was not looking forward to the procedure; I was trying to tell myself the end result would be totally worth it!

I went let him know how sensitive and he acknowledge what I was saying explained the procedure to me and let me know he was going to be very gentle. He started and he was very gentle but I was very sensitive I began to squirm and say ouch letting him know (hey it still hurts). He then asked me if I had ever had nitrogen oxide, I hadn’t so I said no and he then gave me what I call a Mickie Mouse nose other wise know as a mask I was breathing regularly in the mask and the anxiety and pain both disappeared! This Orange county cosmetic dentist made my fear of the Dentist vanish!

Nitrogen oxide does not harm you in any way, and is a weak sedative/anesthetic that is very safe and can even be given to young children. I have found that all dentists don’t administer it so if you’re in the area of Orange County dental implants are probably something you’ve thought about getting but simply thought oh no too much pain! Think again these dentists are the best of the best and will surely do anything to make you feel comfortable and pain free.
