Every year Plastic surgery becomes more popular than the next not only amongst adults but amongst teenagers as well. These procedures are most common among teenagers because of the bullying that often takes place in school aged children and teenagers. Although the problem is bullying, and not the physical parts that teenagers are being bullied over teenagers often feel a growing resentment to this physical flaw in their appearance which makes them different.

Name calling may not be taken seriously by adults but for children this can cause trauma in their lives and trouble them into their adult hood. Although some plastic surgeons may say one should not undergo plastic surgery until the age of 18, other surgeons believe that if the patient displays a certain level of maturity then he or she is free to undergo the surgery. Other surgeons believe that letting ones child be ridiculed and taunted at school will cause more mental damage than letting them fix the problem.
